The founder of Catadu.com is M. A. Hamid. He is an engineer, who graduated from BUET. In his profession, he is an entrepreneur. His passion is to work on new things. He is an innovator. Later he earned a degree in Business Administration from IBA, DU.
When Mr. Hamid was studying at BUET, he started a business with his friends. But of the huge pressure of studying, he left the business. At the final session of graduation, he got many job offers from both national and international sectors. Just finishing the thesis presentation, he started a job at a local manufacturing organization. There he learned the basics of engineering. After 6 months, he decided that he had nothing to learn more about basic engineering. As a result, He left the job and started another job, where he can learn more. Even, for his independence, he did not join the government job. Besides, he took the class in an international school as teaching was his passion.
- Story of Entrepreneurship
Mr. Hamid started an e-commerce business in 2009. But the business failed. After a few years, he earned handsome cash and started another startup in 2012. This was Catalyst, which is an organization for research, training, and teaching. After a few years, his revenue multiplied by many times.
In 2016 he started the third business venture in the manufacturing sector, which was an organic fertilizer manufacturing company. In 2017 this venture was awarded as the startup winner.
His part-time teaching was going on a small scale. He achieved the champion award for innovation in 2017. In 2019 he started another startup named www.examhelpbd.com. This startup is a platform to make easy the exam system of Bangladesh. Catadu.com is a combined effort of the second startup Catalyst, the last venture ExamHelpBD and the part-time passionate teaching work.
