Md. Abdul Hamid

Md. Abdul Hamid is an engineer, innovator, entrepreneur, social activist and educator with a passion for teaching innovation in the Cambridge International O and A-level curriculum. He holds a degree in engineering from BUET and a degree in business administration from IBA, DU. Throughout his career, Hamid has established several successful startups and received numerous awards for his achievements. He was awarded the championship in a national-level competition for business innovation and received the Startup Cup award in 2017. As the key person behind catadu.com (an eLearning company), Matir Bondhu (an organic fertilizer manufacturing company), and BNKA (Bangladesh Nirapod Khaddo Andolon, a movement for unadulterated food), Hamid has demonstrated his ability to lead and innovate in various industries. He is a member of IEB (Institution of Engineers Bangladesh) and a life member of BAPA (Bangladesh Paribesh Andolon). Hamid is also a talented writer, having authored a motivational Bangla book titled 'Shunno Theke Kotipoti' and is currently working on a book named 'Mohadi'.
